Kinetictype
I experimented with some effects the hardest to use was the smear effect other than that it was tedious to match I really just had fun with this project

Creepy Cat
The Creepy Cat
In this project we were introduced to after effects. Which we had to do five things to the composition.
I used the pen tool to make a mask which then keyed the path to form a unicorn.
Used a particle effect to sell the magical unicorn
I keyed color correction on the cat to make it look empowered
The tool that worked best for me was the masks and moving them. The tool that gave me the most trouble was trying to get a particle effect and getting it to act how I wanted.

Complex Ball Bounce
Ball Bounce
In-between: Frames in between key frames
Anticipation: Ready the audience for a motion like a dancer jumping
Perspective: A way of portraying depth or distance on a flat 2-D surface

For this project we had to make the ball bounce down a cliff, but with anticipation I also added a perspective view to the jump.
I had little trouble with this project the only thing that I ran out of time to fix my arcs their still more like diagonals I also feel that the ball could've gotten smaller at the end
Explored principles: Timing and Spacing, Creating Keyframes, Creating in-betweens, Squash and Stretch, Anticipation
Time and space: how far each frame is from each other and how fast
Key frame: Major frames start and end of actions
In-between: Frames in between key frames
Squash n stretch: Squash an object and keep its volume

Ball Bounce
Ball Bounce
For this project I turned my ball into a guy who hits the ground most of my focus was getting the guys arms legs and head to move right I also added a background overall I like the chalky look I was able to get

The hardest part for me on this project was getting the limbs to move naturally with the motion and the most difficult thing to keep the natural was the mans head mostly the size of it.

Count Down Project
Count Down
Explored principles: Timing and Spacing, Creating Keyframes, Creating in-betweens
Optional Principles: Squash and Stretch, Exaggeration, Anticipation
Time and space: how far each frame is from each other and how fast
Key frame: Major frames start and end of actions
In-between: Frames in between key frames
Squash n stretch: Squash an object and keep its volume
Exaggeration: to over act a motion
Anticipation: adds suspense to a film

Anticipation: adds suspense to a film
To use these principles in this project I could use a ball hitting a number for squash and stretch. I could also make a number sit in the same place and then have something random happen to them for anticipation I can also mess with how the numbers come into the scene.
The only problem I had with the project was my numbers blending into my background, but I do wish I had more time to add more details like shading and splashing.
